Hello To All Again
Hello from southern Alberta. We hope everyone on here is doing great. My name is Colin and we have a 1975 Monte with a 454 turbo 400. I know there can't be to many 75 454 Monte's out there, rare? This is where we need the help of this forum. We need to get rid of a few cars from my yard.Bylaw says so.
Anyway the Monte must go.

Thanks for the welcomes, and thanks for heads up from admin.I will tell you a bit about the Monte. The Monte is a numbers matching car from Bow Island here in Alberta. We are the third owners. We rebuilt the transmission and radiator. Replaced the master and rear brake cylinders. We also installed new gaskets on the motor. The Monte runs great. The car already has dual exhaust put on by second owner. It has a bit of rust around the wheel wells and that's it.Here is my situation. We also own a numbers matching 72 Camaro SS396 ,so the 454 out of the Monte will become my main motor in the Camaro while my rebuilt 396 (original) motor will come out and sit in the garage,so we don't have to worry about hurting or racking up the miles on the 396.
Thanks for the info on how many 454 Monte's were built in 75. I no longer have a knot in my stomach thinking about parting a rare car.
I have a numbers matching 72 Camaro SS396 that I would love to pull the 396 and leave it in the garage while running the Camaro with the 454.
