Default Hello! (again)

So i technically already had an introduction post, but i never actually got to post pictures of the car or introduce myself.

My name is Ben, 23 from the Pittsburgh area of PA. Finishing my Master's Degree in Multimedia Management.

My car, is actually a 2002 MonteCarlo SS (not 01 as my SN depicts)

I originally picked up an 01 SS that had a severe engine fire, and was going to restore the car myself, and then just had it painted. Then i found large amounts of hidden rust in the car so i used it for parts, to restore my 2002 SS.

The car was in a front end collision so new front end parts were installed and the whole car was re-painted (by another member on here actually). Love the way the car looks, I'm excited to have it, just going to wait untill spring to put her on the road, as to not submit the fresh paint to the winter snow.

Engine has ~40k The last thing i need to do with the car, is I will be buying a set of replica 17" Impala Diamond Cut wheels this winter.

Now for pictures!

2x 12" RF P1 Subwoofers, and RF Amp.

Here i just got creative.

Set your camera up on a tripod, take a photo with the hood open and one with the hood close. Makes sure the camera DOES NOT MOVE. Try to mimic how my car is framed in the photo as best you can, to ensure that the whole engine compartment is shown. Also if there are any shaddows on the engine, it will look goofy, so try to take the pic in a well lit area, with the sun directly behind the camera.

If you're not savvy with Photoshop, if you send me the photos i'll do it for you!

I see the shot all the time in HOT ROD magazine, and always thought it would be neat to attempt.

Welcome. I think I'm going to take you up on that tomorrow. I really like the effect that it produces.
