Hey all! Just found the forum from another site. I've proudly owned my '96 Monte Carlo for over 13 years and have put a ton of time and money into my car to make it mine. 345K miles later and still running like a champ! Pics and mod list coming soon in the Member Ride area! Thanks for having me

Thanks guys! after taking a picture of my odometer for the high miler thread, I realized I'm only at 343K. After 1/3 of a million miles, what's another 2,000 anyway. I'm a service technician for Chrysler, so preventative maintenance is pretty important to me. That said, this cat has been thrashed. I originally raced this car on the weekend after buying it with 100K on the clock and working the engine and suspension over, then drove it back and forth to work during the week. Now it's a daily driver. At 298K I put new head gaskets on after one started leaking due to the head bolt under the a/c compressor bracket backing out. Other than that just basic maintenance.
