Thanks everyone! It's a 98 Z34. I just got it plated yesterday and everything so that was the first day I've actually been driving it around.

98!? That means you got an AWESOME 3800 powered car for $250. Congratulations, that engine is fantastic!

It does have some high miles, but these engines are okay. Hey mine has 179,000 and it's still running strong

Lol, well that's good to know. 'cos the Service Engine light is on. I need to get it a tune up. I was on a really low low low budget and Illinois plates/Title transfer were more than the car itself!

Getting the car was a lucky catch. I met my buddy pushing carts at Walmart as a co-worker. Then he quit. Then his plates expired and he is planning on going into the military soon so it wasn't worth him renewing his plates for such a short amount of time. So I nagged him to sell me the car and he did! Lucky me. I figured at the time even if it goes to crap after 6 months I'll get my money back out of it in the stereo and scrap metal. But low and behold, you're all saying it's a gem!

Another good thing to note is that even if the engine goes bad, it's so cheap to get another L36 since they were so extremely plentiful.

You even have what looks like the 3-piece brickyard spoiler which is something a lot of people want on their 5th Gen.

Definitely a nice car, take good care of it! Be careful around the gas tank, that's a big rust out area in these cars due to a moisture issue.

As soon as I saw the spoiler on the trunk, I was going to ask if it was a Z34. Great find! With a little TLC you'll have a great car.
