Greetings and Salutations!
Hello Everyone! Just Joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Timothy, but Tim works just fine, and I am 20 years old. I live in Southern New Hampshire, and am going to school for a Computer networking Degree at my local community college. I enjoy Building Computers, working on cars (though usually I'm just the gopher), Playing Video Games and writing, as well as some more childish hobbies, such as playing the Yu-Gi-Oh card game, and collecting a vast armada of Hot wheels cars (all real production cars or concepts, no hot wheels designed cars). But enough about me, lets move on to the car. I have a 2003 Monte Carlo LS (for Loser Spec) with almost 129000 miles on it, but very few of them i have actually clocked, since I just passed my drivers test on the 8th of this month. I have actually owned the car since February, but it hadn't been used until that day. As such, there is a little rust on the brakes, and the battery is not the best. But I love this car, chiefly because I own it, from the Tires to the care-worn ceiling, also because Monte Carlos are, I think, Very cool cars. They aren't Camaros, they are designed to be cruiser cars rather than track attackers or summer funners. So far, I've clocked around 100 Miles in it, and It rides pretty well, and has good low range acceleration. Fuel economy might be an issue though, I havent refueled it yet, but my guesses for fuel economy seem to be below 20 mpg, but then again ive been a little aggressive with the throttle. I doubt ill be able to get much horsepower out of the engine without spending a fortune, so right now I'm looking at cosmetic mods, and maybe some handling improvements. Anyway I hope to frequent this forum regularly, and would love any suggestions or input you guys have to offer!
Welcome aboard Boomslang.
I think the best cosmetic mods. are tires and wheels, depending on what your existing set-up is you may get some handling improvement from the tires as well.
