Default Got Monte?

Greetings all. New to this forum. We recently bought a 2000 SS with 33,000 original miles in pretty much mint condition. Never seen snow. We like it so much, we bought another one today for our soon to be 16 year old son. It is a 2000 pace car edition with 116,000 miles. Very nice car. Looking forward to learning some tips, tricks, etc. Here's the pics:

Thanks. After driving the car today, we experienced the apparently common problem of the turn signals not working unless I pushed the hazard switch. If I read right, the cure is to replace this switch. Is that correct? Easy enough to do?

The hazard switch has the relay for the blinkers as well. The blinker relay tends to stop making connection without getting a finger flick. Replacing The relay is the fix. When removing the dash be careful. The bracket that holds the switch in place is molded into the dash cover and is not Very strong. So pull the dash cover out slowly.
Nice cars! Safe driving and Welcome to MCF!

Sounds like you already expect from your Monte. Just keep the salt off her and keep up on maintenance and watch her go. Welcome to MCF.

Welcome to the forum! I have always loved the 2000 pace car, especially for it's interior.
