I have a 2000 monte carlo ss. can somone please help me!!! my gear shifter will not go into park. All of the other gears work fine!!!!

 

Welcome to the forum. This section is for introducing yourself to the members and stuff, you should post this issue in the Monte Carlo Repair help section of the forum as people go there to assist with problems so it will probably get looked at quicker and responded too faster. I have the same issue with my car occasionally not going into park all the way when I stop and shut it off, but I usually just give the shifter a bump and it goes in so I have never bothered investigating it any further lol
