Default Gday from Vegas.

Hi all,
names Dingo and i'm an Aussie who lives in Vegas.I love all motorcycles and own more than a few.
Always loved American muscle cars, recently sold my 76 Camaro and have just picked up an 87 Monte Carlo SS.
Thing is i'm not sure if it is an actual SS and it needs some front end repairs. It's a 305.Mechanically fine just a bit banged up as you can see in the photos.Front guard, nose cone and hood.
I found this forum doing a google and figured this would be the best place to pick your brains and get some help with the Monte.
Thanks.

Thanks Jerry.I've been all over it and haven't found anything on it to say it is an SS except for the decal on the trunk.

No problem! Can't you figure out if it's a real SS by the VIN???

I know what site you're talking about.. forgive me tho, my brain isn't working very well at 2am.. I think it's this one Vehicle Identification Number - VIN Numbers: Free online search for car or truck VIN numbers. Find information on auto decoders and DMV record links. Welcome to the family anyways! I look forward to seeing the progress made and the pics along the way. I've always loved the look of the 4th gen montes.
