FNG from FL
Greetings! I live in NW Florida and am actually stationed in Iraq at the moment. I've been humping it out in the desert for the past several months, so I figured I would treat myself to a sweet Monte Carlo upon my return to the states this summer. I've never owned an MC before, but I really love the 70-72 body style. I'm looking to purchase one in the south-east region, preferably as close to FL as possible. I was hoping to get pointed in the right direction about where to purchase. Looking to spend anywhere from $5,000 - $8,000. Any ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Gives you an idea of what I like in my price range though. I'll be returning to the states in early May, so I'm getting an early start on the hunt for my dream MC. I don't have a color preference and it can be stock or modified, either way is cool. My biggest thing is I'm looking for a clean/straight body with no rust. I want my MC to be an every weekend cruiser, so it doesn't have to be perfect or showroom quality by any means. Let the hunt begin!

The one you posted is a great price & a good looking 1st Gen,
but it's not my color, but it's a clean one for $4200.

You have come to the right place if you're looking for help and advice
on getting your 1st gen MC. My bet is that there are several of these MC's
scattered all over the south.
Kid Space is good about locating MC deals around these parts.

Thanks! I've found a few 1st Gen MC's in the FL area that I liked, but I was too late and they had been sold already. I'll just take my time and find the perfect MC for me. Until then, then search continues....
