Default Finally here

Hello. My name is Jared Richey I live in Belton, SC. I'm new to this forum but am not new to the Monte Carlo or several other forums. I'm sure some of the same people I know from other forums are members here.

I have a 1970 Monte Carlo 350/300 HP. Its white with dark green interior. Show/driver
My other First gen is a 1971 that is being built right now I'm calling it the RiceBurner, it has a 462ci est. 600 HP flywheel with aluminum heads, intake, forged bottom end, etc....hooked to a Racing built COOKS Turbo 350 tranny with a custom made driveshaft into a bullit proof 12 Bolt Rearend with a 4-wheel disk brake conversion kit(rearend is not yet completed).
This is car is slowly taking shape and I hope to throw up an ET next Spring, maybe getting the car on the road after the weather cools off.

My Daily Driver is a 1986 Monte Carlo SS. Stock everything except wheels and tires. It has 194k miles on it and gets an average 17 MPG.

I'm on lots of other Monte forums.

www.firstgenerationmontecarlo.com
www.montemill.com
www.montecarloclub.com
and a few other car related forums

Hope to get to know some other Monte nuts here.

Stupid Question. How do you post pics in this forum? I copied and pasted the URLs over from Imageshack just like do on all the other forums I'm on, and when I posted it, all it came up was the URL and not the picture????

Any help will be appreciated.

Hey Jared!
Nice to see you over here too!

The picture thing is a very common problem when people first join MCF. I had the same problem too.

I believe the problem your having is with the coding .
simply use lower case letters instead, and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps.

Edit: I think we should change the name of this forum. From "Monte Carlo Forum" to "Monte Carlo Forum.....please post pics!!!" LOL.

Just kidding.
