Finally got my "old man" ride!! LOL
Before i go into saying hello, let me explain my title. The way i view this is simple, this is the car of my dreams and many men have ALWAYS wanted one specific car their entire life and don't attain their "dream car" until they are in their golden years. I'm getting mine at 29.. hence the "old man" comment. lol
Hello, My name is Mike and my Monte has had only one owner prior to me (53,376 miles on it). All i know of the first owner is that he is an older gentleman that traded her to the dealership i found her at for a pickup truck. This person apparently was a fellow gear head as he kept the car in immaculate shape.
I live in Pennsylvania and one thing about this area is a TON of road gravel, salt and other hazards of the road which ALWAYS ding up and chip the hood, and bumpers of any and all cars that drive these roads. Fortunately, there are none to be seen on this car.
The interior is black/charcoal gray and is also immaculate. No wear on the seats, steering wheel or even on the shifter. However the rubberized coating on the plastic on the center console does seem to have a few nicks in it. I'm assuming this is a common thing since the coating seems to be very thin.
Anyways, i was stoked to see there was a Monte Carlo enthusiast site and look forward to sharing any and all modifications/improvements to the car as well as ask questions about stump points while doing so. Thanks for having me.
