Thanks everyone, you all are very nice here. I always wanted a Monte but I could never afford it, then I just started saving and bought the Camaro.

The car my cousin wants to sell is here... https://montecarloforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=20979

The Vette is not mine, just a friends. It's ridiculously fast. Has a cam, intake, exhaust. Makes over 500rwhp.

My Camaro has a 4000 yank converter, LS6 intake, headers, exhaust, electric cut out and a 230/230 cam.

Here's the engine...

Those rims, where did you get them? i like those.

*edit* looking at your car, made me go look at some online.
Found some that said z28 some were SS's, what were the difference in those, or is it the same?
The ones i found both had the same engine v8 in them? :-??

Those are O.E. Concepts (Original Equipment) made by some company. A sponsor on ls1tech.com. They were a very good price but no one usually likes them because they are a vette wheel and they are too common.

The 4th gen Camaros came as Z28s and SSs. The only thing you need to know is that every LS1 (4th gen engine and C5 vette engine, early GTO engine) comes with 350HP at the crank. It doesn't matter if it's in a vette, SS or Z28, it's the same engine and each engine had 350HP, no matter what anyone tells you, it's the same dang thing.

Now the SS's came with SLP options like a special exhaust and a different hood and spoiler, but the Z28s could come with crank windows and cloth interior and usually the Z28s are a few lbs lighter. Overall they are pretty much the same car except a few options and exhaust. There is a not a whole lot of difference at all.

01-02 LS1s came with a LS6 intake off the Z06 vette I believe. They have a slightly smaller cam to have numbers comparable to the earlier years. Also 01-02 could have come with an LS6 block, just depends. There isn't a whole lot of difference between the blocks, but they are more desired.

would let me test drive one...., but dreams are still `free.
Is your Z your daily driver ? (I think it's 2 nice to drive in bad weather: ).... Look 4ward to your thoughts on the below...SLP Camaro's : )

Creating a new generation of Classics

Camaro®, arguably one of the most legendary names in the history of late-model Chevrolet Muscle Cars, is once again the basis for limited-edition Specialty Vehicles from SLP; the Camaro SS-based supercharged ZL550 and ZL575, and the normally-aspirated ZL454 and ZL427!
Following in the footsteps of the 40,000+ fourth generation Camaro SS® specialty vehicles SLP produced for GM and its dealers is a daunting challenge. But one test drive will convince skeptics that these new ZL Camaro specialty vehicles have recaptured and refined the special magic the SLP name offers.
The 2010 ZL Camaros from SLP are destined to become legendary Camaro classics!

I like the way the new Camaros look for sure, some don't. I think they are really eye-catching though. It's unfortunate they can't perform as well as some would think. 426hp is a lot, but with 3900lbs to lug around, it makes it look like a pig.

I haven't done much research yet on all the special edition Camaro's but those look pretty sweet. I've been looking for a job for 2 1/2 months, so I haven been pretty busy and haven't gotten a chance to do research and memorize everything about these special editions. The Z/28 is returning though!!

My Camaro sits in the garage from Nov - March and is only driven on nice sunny days. I drive a grand prix for my DD. The Camaro is not mint, but I treat it nice.

Does your Grand Prix have a set of roof rails you're willing to part with?
