The horizontal drive cable is broken or disengaged from the connector.
Test by removing the nut that holds the drive motor for access to the cable connector on the door side of the seat and squeeze the oblong connector to disconnect the cable. Operate the switch to see of the cable spins. You might have to remove the seat to replace the cable.
