Default Ecm

Okay I have change all my transmission solenoids in my transmission so it wasn't changing out of Gears but some days it change some days it won't like first and second it won't go into 3or4 so the day is change the first and second but wont going 3or4.. but my question is I had the battery cable off when I change the solenoid but what can cause that?

Could just be hard part failure if the solenoids aren't fixing the issue.

Assume you changed fluid? Have you had the exhaust back pressure tested to rule out the catalytic? Does it run rough like there could be a vacuum leak somewhere?

Yeah I change the fluid I never had the exhaust back pressure check before but I was reading about it it was saying something about you have to reset the ECM cuz of the new solenoids the computer probably reading if I still has the old solenoids in could that be it

You had the battery disconnected for over an hour I'm sure, the PCM should be fine.

Yes I took the battery cable off before I start putting the new solenoids in

I had same problem with a 91 caddy trans. once, I used a product called "shudder stop", it really worked, worth a shot?.

Ok I'm going to try it out...I know alot of people telling me that my transmission is shout out cause I told them that when it's making a whining sound that I know it would change from first to second but not the third of 4 but if it's not making a winding sound it won't change at all so I don't know I'm about to just give up on this car

Good luck, I usually don't have much faith in snake oil solutions,but
this time it worked for me.
