Lost my old car to an electrical fire Oct 08 and replaced her with a car from the other extreme...swollowed by water. haven't really had alot of passion towards cars until I found this beast and began to bring her back to life.Interior and exterior is around 80% complete but needs some minor work. next is the drive train so I'll be gathering info here and there. she had some terrible rallys on her when I picked her up along with I don't know how many years of dissrespect to her interior, could not believe the cig & seed burns and nicotine resin that ran down from behind everywhere like blood in a horror film. that's all behind her now!!!!and all in the dump!

I've put pic's of the Monte in the photo gallery under "TAZ" flood rescue / jarheadbobandmax.... there are a couple photos of her with the strips as she was taken in for paint, mostly I'd like to forget that look....AwsomeSS I remember looking at your page in the gallery and thinking about the graphics. I love the way you took the checkered theme and made it your own... My wifes family is in the sign/graphics business and we appreciate seeing others takes on the old and new theme's.

 

my '98 has a red maple leaf sticker on the inside of the drivers side door. were the bulk of these cars made in the 51st state? (no offense, I'm kidding I'm kidding, I know I'm gonna get heck for that)
