A lot of factors effect boost.
- The most common is belt slippage
- By pass valve is leaking
- Higher elevations will make you lose boost pressure
- Engine is running to lean or rich
- Supercharger is being over spinned. (out of it's efficency)
- A larger supercharger drive pulley was added to the supercharger
- A smaller crank pulley was added to the engine
- To much boost pressure for the by pass valve causing it to open up when you hit higer boost pressures
- Leak in the ducting
- Supercharger is going bad

Welcome to the forum! I can't see the supercharger oil being a factor here. The supercharger pulley itself is only pressed on - if it been changed a time or 2 it could be slipping a little...

Welcome to the forum from another fellow Dale Jr edition owner. Are we Junior edition owners out numbering the Intimidator edition owners yet?
I'll have to pay attention to my boost guage more. See if I can get it close or not.

We gotta covert kPa to PSI. Damn Canadian guages! I don't even know what a kPa is and have no idea how much boost I make really. Needle goes up and down - thats all I understand.
