Default Daily Driver Monte Carlo!?

Hey guy first time here, just joined. I am on the fence about getting a Monte Carlo as a daily driver. I found one I like for sale in my budget. Needs minor work I just need your guys opinion if I should use it as my daily driver. It's a '72 with a 350sbc 3spd auto. Fresh rebuild engine trans and pain about 5 years ago, garage kept. Has factory AC but missing compressor and hoses, needs new tires, fan shroud, a full exhaust. And small interior work like headliner, steering wheel etc very minor. I love the design of the car especially as a daily. I drive about 250 miles a week max. For the right price would the Monte be a reliable daily?

Also I have a C3 SBC too so I have experience with older cars and fixing them. Owned a classic muscle car forever

I guess really only you can decide if you want it as a daily or not.
I do drive my 03 as daily during the spring and summer, I just don't drive it in winter because of all the deicer and gravel they use here.
You say it was garage kept, so do you live in a area that gets snow and stuff used on the roads?
If so that is your decision if you want to expose it to that or not.

I live in Florida so the weather is good gear round. Only issue would be over heating.

I owned a 71 Monte at one time and I owned a 1972 Chevelle ordered it from the Factory back in the Day. 350 SB also as I recall it didn't get very good Gas mileage.
I was always told it is the short distances that are the most difficult on cars. This Monte is considered a Classic now. It would be a fun ride for sure.
