I'm looking for the turbo charge cover that goes over the motor? I had one on my monte carlo but someone stole it. Do anyone know where I can find one and the actual name of it

It's just a 3800 series 2 supercharged engine cover.

The easy spot if you need one right now is ebay. Just make sure it matches up with your original as there's a few different styles - NA vs SC is different, series 1 vs 2 vs 3 is different, there's even differences between w body and h body covers. They run about $100-250 depending on condition.

The cheaper route is to find one in a junkyard or from a local member. They're really not that valuable - lots of people used to take them off and toss them. Ive seen people give them away for free back in the day. The problem is the GM recalls for engine fires specified dealers remove / discard them, so they suddenly spiked in price as people who actually liked them started snapping them up on the used market / driving the prices up.

Here's a handful I found that should be the right part. Note Im not at all reccomending any of these places - I just randomly grabbed links to the first three I saw.

One important thing to keep in mind, for some reason there appear to be a ton more H body covers than W body (you can tell by looking at tbe lower left of the cover - your W body is notched / cut back to fit the motor mounts, the ones for thr H body cars are a big rectangle down on the front left.

Id suggest he try searching them online first if they have that capability. The bad thing is that the majority of people got the recall done / had the covers taken - so even if they have the right cars, the chances of them having intact covers isnt great.

Just hate to see him driving around all day yard to yard to yard striking out, especially since so many yards have some kind of search capability at this point.

Yes he always double checks on line to see if they parts for what ever car we are working on. He got some replacements parts for my monte when we bought it. But put on what he got

What I'm looking for is the long piece that went a cross the top where I have it circled that said turbo charged, it was a long piece

It wouldnt have said turbo charged if it was factory. These newer 3800s only came naturally aspirated or supercharged. The three ebay links I posted were all to supercharged versions.

this one could be the one that you are looking for. Check the link. I have this same one that I got at a Salvage yard it says Supercharged on the left side of the cover I think it was from a Buick.

 

That would've been from a 04-07 Grand Prix.

Two things to note about that one for the OP:
-I believe this PN would also say "SERIES 3" on it. The OP's engine is a series 2; not sure if he cares if it says something other than what it is.
-This PN should cover pretty much the whole supercharger snout (whereas the whole snout would be exposed on his original). As above, not sure if he cares about getting an exact match.
