Chevrolet-Fan from Germany
Hello,
I am Marc-Johan, just call me Sean. I was born in Germany and I still live here. I explored the world of cars when i was four, and when I was 15 my father had a Chevy Camaro ('69), what a beautiful car! Well, when I was 18 I started studying in Hamburg and I knew that I don't need a car because there were bus and train. On one day I saw this Monte Carlo '71. I fell in love, so bad, dude. I don't need a car for drving in the city, so I bought that neat Chevy for the country road. Now I live at the lake Constance, the streets there are beautiful, and that countryside! Wow! We even have our own quarter-mile (an old airport). Well, once in a while I take it out of the garage and drive small and big tours, not everyday but often enough (don't forget that fuel costs 7.5$ a gallon). I hope this Monte is staying in the family 'coz I had to work much to afford this Chevy, which was always my dream.
Okay... Here are some pics of my baby:

Everything is original, I had to paint it once...

...but it's the original colour.

PS: Please don't be to harsh, I know my English sucks, I didn't speak English for a damn long time. And please tell me where I wrote something wrong, please.

Thank you! It's really a neat car. Do you have a picture of your fiance's Monte? What's triple black? Black rims, black interior and black paintjob? That surely looks awesome. There was a oldtimer-rallye last weekend. The only american cars were: Shelbys, Fords and (of course) Chevrolet. This one was nice:

'Sean, your english is big and also is your car. We are looking to the front to your future pillar. Wish him fun and luck'
What receiption from you guys! I feel like home already. MCF rocks! The German people don't have such nice forums about american... about chevrolet? NO WAY! About the Chevy Monte? If you ask: “Do you know the Chevrolet Monte Carlo?“ “Yes, I've been in Monaco/Monte Carlo it is really nice there.“ D'oh! Oh well, finally I found a nice place with other Monte-Fans.
A big compliment to all of you!! You're awesome!
