Default Car Help

I am going to install a cold air intake on my 2002 Monte Carlo LS. However I don't know what to do with my mass air flow sensor, which sits directly behind the filter box. Can I move this back to the throttle body and put it there or do i need to figure out how to put it at the filter? The Intake i am installing is a BBK Performance Power-Plus Series Air Intake. Thank you for any help!

I'm sure a google/youtube/search on here will give you the answer you're looking for if no one jumps in. I've seen videos/pics where people just have it in line. I guess it depends where you have the filter to pick up the air if it's short or long, but the MAF is just in line how it would be normally.
