Hi guys!
Thanks again for the warm welcome!
I purchased my Monte off of a good friend, who couldn't part with it with anyone outside of the circle, so I was very glad in purchasing it from him.
He bought it from the original owner from the local paper's classifieds. The owner had it stolen from him and the car was wrecked on the passenger side during the chase. But hey, at least it was recovered, right?! LOL!
Anyhoo, the car still has some problems with the door hinge, and I might have to replace the sheet metal on the quarter panel from the severe rust from the Landau roof lining it had. Though it looked good, the guys who redid it, didn't seal it well, and the rust screwed some of it up. I am looking at 4k in bodywork, but hey, I love this car and am willing to keep it for a LONG time. I love ALL Monte Carlos, but the 4th generation is my favorite.
I'll have to post the other info later on my baby...
