My 2000 Monte Carlo quit on me while driving down the rd last month. Ended up the pcm was shorted out. I notice it while the shop was working on it. if you ground it to the motor it would spark. Replace it 1st. Since then they have replaced one of the 4 wiring harness and checked the others all seem to be in good shape. Still I have no power to the pcm. WE gone thur all the relays and everything else they can think of. Don't know what else to do. Anyone with any ideas??

If you can trace the wire that feeds to it and see if it is broken, or sometimes the pin that goes into the plug is corroded and won't make the connection, or the pin is broken too.
I don't know if it would work on the cars but for house current they make a little pen that is a power finder and it tweets at you when you have a live wire.

Can use either to test grounds also. Which is what I'd check first.
