Been lurking for a few years...
Hello everyone! I'm Mike, and I've been a member since November 2011. So like the title says, I've just been lurking around for awhile. I've finally decided that it's time to get these five posts out of the way so I can PM and take advantage of the other benefits of being a full fledged member. I have a 2001 SS that I've top swapped. I'm running ZZP 1.9 modified rockers, colder plugs and t-stat, Wizaired CAI, Plog, 3 inch catless downpipe, 3.4 MPS, and an Overkill tune. I have Speed Daddy headers and a 2500 stall waiting to be installed this spring, when it warms up enough to rebuild the trans that lived one driving season behind the top swap. :-)

Thanks for the welcomes.... again lol
I was planning to get some track time last summer, but the trans started slipping... Hopefully I can run it this summer. I am kinda nervous though, as I've never ran at a strip.
Working on pics, gotta figure it out first. That will be a good project to do while I'm working tomorrow.
I do recommend the 1.9 rockers! I used them when I was still N/A, and until the top swap, they gave me the largest felt power increase. They only took a couple hours to install, and did not require any pcm tuning. I kept my shift points at 6K, and did not experience any valve float. Swapping them out also gives you the opportunity to replace leaky valve cover gaskets and upgrade those coolant elbows!

If you have no plans for a cam, I highly recommend the rockers. I'm running the ER Rockers and love them.
I'm doing the same, no valve spring swap, still 5900RPM shifts without valve float.
