80's or 70's Monte Owners? im new to this group was over in montecarloss but dont get many responses over there thought i would try this one out. So to start off i own a 86 SS 350 engine swap with a 700r4 behind it capable of 13.9s with some sticky tires.

 

welcome to the site i have seen some on here. i had an 86 ss myself really do miss that car, should of never sold it lol.

 

Glad to have you around! Unfortunately as is made obvious by my sig, I haven'towned carslong enough to enjoy the true beauty of such a car. ONly recently have I really got enthusastic about wrenching my own ride, and felt confident enough to partake in such a pleasure. Perhaps when I'm a bit more lucky in my financial accomplishments would I be able to enjoy such a fine car... but until that point.... I'm afraid I'm stuck with wrestling with computer limitations, and sub-par selection of aftermarket parts.

 

Yup. there are quite a few 80's model pilots here and a couple of 70's.

Welcome to the site.

There are quite a few members here that have 80's Monte Carlo's. Plus a few who are looking into getting an 80's model soon. You've already met one 80's owner. Right now being the end of exam time, and the busy holiday season, the forum has been slower than usual. But don't get discouraged. There are plenty of helpful voices here with a lot of great expertise.

Be prepared for the usual request for pics. lol.
