Default Any guess on car damaged cost to this car?

my guess is the bumper, front fender, and hood need to be replaced and repainted. the front bumper hangs loose but i pushed it back up before taking that pic. its a 2005 in fair to rough condition by my estimates and would probably be worth about $5000.

i'm wondering if its just gonna end up being totaled by my insurance company.

Sorry to see your Monte Hurt...How hard of a hit ? What did you hit @ what speed ?

Is there any other damage not shown in your pic ?
Check back, and see what our Body Shop Expert member's estimate on your damage...

How many miles on your Monte ?
Do you want it to be totalled ? or do you want it fixed right ?

It looks like you ran it into a ditch.....
No telling how much "HIDDEN" damage there is.....

My best guess.....
around $9500.00
Which is proably more than its worth to repair it
If you have full coverage..there probably gonna total it... if the "HIDDEN" damage...is severe enough...
But thats a guess....I could be wayoff also....

Considering its 7 rs old..
and you havent told us the mileage on it....

What caused the damage? It may help in determining what else could be damage. Also are there any other things wrong with the car that would bring the overall value down. And welcome to the site.

Dude I hate to tell you but your car is totaled. My husband runs a body shop and he says it looks to be at least $5500 just in parts provided there is no frame damage.

Things that bring the value down:
1. the tires are due to be replaced
2. someone has broken into the car and the driver's side door doesn't lock
3. someone in my apartment dented the side of the car the paint on the dent is slightly cracked

What cause the damage? a friend. i loaned the car to a friend and got a phone call the same day and had to go out to where the car was. it was off the expressway slightly up a hill off the shoulder. cops gave them a ticket for speeding and apparently they lost control and spun out.

Miles are 98,000.

At this point i'd be ok with it being totaled especially if they can't at least make it look like it did. i think the damage is as seen. insurance is coming to look at the car Tuesday.
