Smile Another newbie here

I just found this forum. Lots of good info so far. I haven't seen much that pertains to me yet, tho. I have a second gen, 74 all stock. Its still primered and not really much to look at yet. I just bought it yesterday. Needs a new timing chain and p/s pump which I will tackle this week with the help of my much more knowledgeable buddy. I'm thinking of putting some flowmaster 40s on first, is that a good move?

Welcome Sevnfoe to the MCF family. Looking forward to seeing more on your '74 Monte. Admitted, there are more 5th and 6th gens here than any other, but there are several here that have classic Montes, and will be invaluable to wour rebuilding of your new ride. There are several other good sites for classic Montes, but they aren't real active.

Thanks Wayne. I'm kinda figuring that out. You guys have me excited. I'm already looking around for a 6th gen I can get my hands on. There aren't too many of them in Honolulu for some reason. Maybe because it's not a honda. They love those japanese cars out here. I can't wait to get my Monte souped up so i can blow some doors off of some civics.
