About schultzmonte
Hello, Name: Kelly (not a girl...)
Age:25
2001 Monte Carlo SS all leather heated with moon roof. Dark Carmine Metallic Red. Upgraded to the "hard" 5 spoke rims from the "soft" "salad blade" rims.
I work as a correctional officer in Wisconsin by night, I moonlight as a volunteer Firefighter for fun, and I paint cars and airbrush as a passion/side business. I'm hooked on bow hunting and can't put it down, I've worked on cars and taught myself everything about them since I was 15 1/2 years old.
I bought my Monte SS when I was 19, my now girlfriend(then was not, just friends :\ ) saw it at a dealer and really liked it/wanted it. Next day I went back and bought it. She didn't talk to me for a while.
Loved the car, girl came around named her "Betty Paige" and now I put 75k more miles on the odometer.
Was rough last year, rear alignment was off (already had it in the shop twice to fix it) sold the beater car so forced to drive Betty in the snow, rear end got squirrelly in fresh snow, fish tailed and dumped her in the ditch. Minimal damaged considering I jumped a driveway backwards but after I fixed the suspension I went to the cosmetic to find the entire rocker on the passenger side had cancer.
Driver side was good but right now I'm in the process of removing the cancerous inner and outer rocker and full paint job including a custom touch to the front end. Halfway done with the sheet metal, planning on posting the pictures and step by step of the repair and the painting. Wish me luck! We Betty's all done I'll be looking to put another 100k on the odometer!
