I can't remember the exact numbers, but there were only around 3,223 1970 SS's made total that year. I don't know if there is any source out there that has the breakdown of how many of each color was produced. Needless to say, any true 70 Monte Carlo SS is a rare car. In 71, they only made 1,919 SS's so they are even more rare. There were no SS's produced in 72, the last year of that body style.

A 70 or 71 Monte Carlo SS is one of my dream cars. I wish I could find one that I could afford.

yes i bought the car last fall it a matching # car with the window sticker. iam going to keep it as close to factory as possible.
