Default 2006 Monte Carlo Dead

I left my keys in my SS ignition over night. The car is completely dead. No lights messages etc. It won't come out of park and the ignition does nothing. What do I do to reset? Desparate.

Thank you,

Putnamjf

You may want to try a jump start first?

Do you honestly trust to have these somewhat newer cars jump started? I'm a little leary on doing this, not sure if you could fry the electronics?

Yes. I've done it with my cars and they're fine. How else are you suppose to revive a dead battery?
