2005 Silver Supercharged MC SS
Hey guys. I want to introduce myself and thank you for the assitence with helping me select wheels for my new toy. I just bought a 2005 Supercharged SS to add to my sable of Chevy’s. I have a Duramax 2500 HD, 96 Impala SS and now the MC. The MC will be the run around vehicle.
The first things I did when I got it a few weeks ago, was to get new tint, install an Eclipe 6610 NAV unit, and get a new set of wheels and tires since it had the factory junk Goodyear’s still on. Those tires went right in the trash. Junk!
So I have been reading up on some things here about upgrades to these cars and have decided to do a few of the following mods in the next several weeks. I contacted a friend of mine Bryan who owns PCM for Less for a computer enhancement. I will be installing a cold air intake system, getting an exhaust system (not sure which one yet as I want to hear a few first), getting the tail lights and back-up lights blacked out, t-stat, ignition upgrade, and some brake upgrades (can’t stand to look at the brakes on the car now with the new wheels).
I own several high performance auto/truck businesses and am the North American Distributor of MovIt Brakes. So I will be designing/engineering some products for these cars in the future.
I look forward to interacting with you guys in the future. Any questions, suggestions, comments? Post away…
Tom
