Default 2003 montecarlo

I have a 2003 montecarlo ss friend bought at an gave it to me since he wasn't going to give me another motorcycle due to accident I had..it was running at auction they brought it out to him and did not start since. The key is a regular metal key so I suspect they kept the good key. I have read the resistance on system got 1.3 ohms attached it and still no start no crank ..the radio still has a call error and there is no alarm setting popping up on it to turn off ...help

Welcome to the forum.
I do not know the answer to your question but I am sure one of our members will post with a possible cause/solution

Welcome to the forum
have you tried getting a vin number cut key?
My wife caviler was having stalling and not starting issues, the correct key seems to have solved it.
just a thought
