Default 2002 Monty ss 3.8

Hello I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS and it will not start if the temperature is below 70゚ inside the vehicle. If the vehicle is sitting in direct sun heating up it'll start every time but when it is cold outside it will not start has anybody ever had any issue with us? If I jump the starter it fires up every time so I am thinking it is somtjing in the ignition system.

Could be a battery starting to go bad.

Temp INSIDE the vehicle? Or just a typo? That would probably be the strangest problem ive heard of if so.

Yes I've noticed if I am driving the car and its hot out, I live in Florida and I run the ac on max when I shut it off it hesitate wanting to start. Its so strange. But when I get ready to head to work in the morning befor the sun is out and its cool out it will not start with normal key motions. I have to have the key on and jump starter. And when car is sitting in the parking lot at work all day is direct sun it will fire up right away.
its soo strange!

Normally (up here in the north) once the temps start to get colder, the battery has to work harder to start the car, it's cold-cranking amps. When a battery is starting to go bad, it starts to struggle to start the car when it's cold. I would get the battery tested at least.

I understand that the battery is brand new and the alternator is good. It doesn't even click it's like it's dead but it still has full power

You live in an area of high humidity and there is most likely some corrosion on the contacts of something in the car. I would probably try to check those areas under the hood first. if the engine compartment is dirty you should clean it up. don't use the car wash wand if you do it might not start again.
The trace the connections and make sure they are clean and the grounds are good against metal and not buildup.
