2001 mc ss torch red
hey guys i am wondering my 2001 mc ss torch red with galxy silver trip has limited edition on the dash cluster but has cloth interior an no sunroof but has the diamond cut rims was it an add on package

Welcome - the car might have been special ordered. I didn't want leather but I wanted the high sports appearance package so I special ordered my 03.
I had seen a few that said limited edition on the speedo also that said that and was also wondering glad to have it cleared up, and why would you not want leather, yeah its hot in the summer but I've never had leather seats get stains lol

It's hit and miss for me. I want leather because they're easier to clean then cloth, however they're hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Plus w/ my 2 tone interior, the black seats would look out of place, so I'd get 7th gen grey ones (the 6th gen tans ones are IMPOSSIBLE to find). But the wiring in the 7th gen is different since the heated seats runs up to the HVAC, so I couldn't get heated seats as easily, which means cold in the winter.
OP, your car was probably special ordered, limited edition only included the high sport kit, the diamond cut wheels and spoiler. The leather seats and sunroof was still an additional add on (which would have increased cost).

Heyy! Welcome to the forum! Mine doesn't have a sunroof either...it's gotta be like the only supercharged model without a sunroof or cassette player lol mine was special ordered though so your monte was prob special ordered too
Yup deff post pics & its not unusual for montes to have lesser options with higher up ones, ive seen a few s/c ones without xm & sunroofs & ive seen cloth ss with everything else, just depends on how it came down the line

It was a money issue - didn't want to shell out the money for the leather seat package.
