A stock 3.8L Monte Carlo S.S. only require regular gas

i agree with mr. space its not needed it will burn pretty much the same, but every once in a while make sure you add some fuel system cleaner to the tank and clean your maf sensor with the proper cleaner and it should run nicely. also make sure you follow your maintenance sceduale as well
