Hey well sounds like your getting a real cream puff, for that year it has super low miles. It wont even touch your STI as you well know. So now when a road raacer kills your Monte, you can use the ol "Let me get my other car" line on them. 
I has an 04 STI for a little over a year, pumped money into it like I have my Monte. Full body kit, custom paint, engine work etc. After going through a new turbo, a broken axle from launching hard and so many other things it became a money pit it seemed like and I sold her off. It was a way fun car, really tore up the road with it. Taught my daughter how to drive a stick shift with it. Not many 16 year olds can say that they learned to drive a stick in a 6 speed STI.
That it why I built my Monte the way I have now, got tired of the STI's, Evo's and Mustangs making me look bad, so I had to be able to hold my own against at least some of them out there.
Anyway glad to see you here and hope you enjoy your new daily driver.
