Default 1970 402 4 Speed Monte carlo

Looking for a 1970 402 4 Speed Monte with original drive train either done or needing restoration.

Does anyone know where I can locate one and what I should expect to pay for one in either condition (preferably with a build sheet)?

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.

Where abouts are you located? That would help.

Hi All,

I am from Southern NH..just outside Boston. Been GM dude for years. Currently have a 55 Resto Mod all done and a 67 vette all done. Next car I would like is a 1970 Monte 402 4 speed, preferrably with a build sheet.

I know it is near impossible to find such a car and would really like to know what I should expect to pay for it should I find one.

Do you know of anyone who has purchased one a 70-73 bigblock 4 speed or where such a car can be found?

Thanks,

Cpmman

Hi Cpmman, & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family...

Below is one example from NE USA, but it's a 454 ci, but it should give you some idea of price & condition.

Vehicle SpecificsYear: 1970Make / Model: Chevrolet Monte CarloMileage: 6800Title Status: ClearEngine: 8 cyl. Transmission: AutomaticExterior Color: BlackDoors: 2Interior Color: Blue Vehicle DescriptionHere is your chance to own a beautiful 1970 Monte Carlo SS454. This car is numbers matching and we have the build sheet which can be emailed to you upon request. It went through an extensive restoration approximately 10 years ago and the paint and interior are in excellent condition. The engine has approximately 1,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt and the car runs and rides like new..

The 454 Super Sport is the most desirable of the 1970 Monte Carlos and this is a great example. If you are interested in this car, please call Paul at 866.426.4480.
