What are the actual code numbers? There is no code for plug wires.

What do the live misfire counts look like - is #5 misfiring across the board or only under certain circumstances? What do the fuel trims look like?

Id probably start by pulling that plug + wire back off to look at it. If thats good, I'd swap its injector to a different cylinder to see if it moves. If neither of those turn up anything, I'd probably do a compression check / leak down.

For the wires and spark plugs there is no codes it just says wires and spark plugs but for the misfire it just says power train cylinder #5 misfire.

TBH I've never seen a reader like that before.

Odd that it makes a diagnosis of an issue rather than telling you the data thats based on (a code or sensor outputs).

For the cyl 5 misfire though, I'd read the live data on that cylinder and see when it happens - is it 100% dead, does it get better or worse with throttle, etc. Id also look at the live data for fuel trims. Could help indicate vac leak issues if the computer is skewing global fueling because that cylinder is ingesting a lot of added air.

Thanks I’ll try that and see.
