Hey guys. I picked up a 2000 Monte Carlo SS about two weeks ago. I've always wanted one of these cars every since they hit the showroom floor. My car (briana) I name all my cars. Is a resto in progress. The PO swerved trying to miss a deer and hit the median (the flat concrete one). It broke the driver's lower control arm and broke the subframe where the control arm connects to it. Thanks to a lot of the threads on here from you guys she's coming together nicely. I have all the parts I need to put her back together just haven't done it yet do to lack of an engine hoist. I'll post lots of pics and try to keep everyone updated. I have a few plans in the works for her like one of those rear bumper skirts, she came from the factory with pewter grey cloth interior but I'm changing that to the saddle tan colored interior from 2003. An exhaust system, a super charger. Idk whether top swap or zzp super charger and definitely upgraded suspension. Appreciate all the help so far. And ideas and tips definitely appreciated. Also my goal is 400hp to the wheels. Is that doable and still be a daily driver?
