Been looking for the cause of my gas smell for the longest in my 2005 Monte Carlo LS. Had the car for a year and a half and finally randomly may have found the source of the smell. Attached a pic. Can someone let me know this part I need to perhaps replace? Thanks!!

 

I'm not sure exactly what it is you're looking at but if it's what is centered in the photo it's the fuel pressure regulator. Easy fix, ~$65 for a new one.
