FINALLY! After a 2 week hiatus, we are back to racing in the Xfinity Series! We're off to Texas with the Cup guys, so we'll have our share of Cup drivers dabbling in this one.

It seems like it has been forever since we picked for an Xfinity race!

It certainly feels like we were off for much longer than 2 weeks. I'm glad we're back though. I still think Buescher will win the title, but I'm curious to see if the 9 or 7 have anything left to make things interesting.

Guess it's just the three of us today. Brent and Catherine both missing out. Hope they get Cup picks in if they haven't already. I'm sitting at bdubs watching it. I like Old Chicago better but they refuse to turn even the side TVs to anything other than football so I couldn't watch it there.

 

I swear... none of these mamas boys running for a title deserve it. I don't think any if then have finished top 5 in the past 2 months

 

I think Crayons finished 5th. It would be interesting to see how everything would unfold if we didn't have a bunch of Cup drivers running every week. Erik Jones is going to be hard to beat in a full time Xfinity ride next year though. He definitely has the inside track for the Truck series championship this year. He extended his points lead last night and it doesn't matter how many Cup guys run with him in Truck or Xfinity. He'll run with anyone. They were talking on Sirius yesterday about how much young talent there is in the Truck and Xfinity right now.

 

Butch wins Texas! Picking the top two, combined with the 54 losing all but 4th gear to drop my points overcame the poor finish by the 6. We'll find out tomorrow if he's able to join Duane in the elite company of having a weekend sweep.
