Xfinity Picks/Chicagoland/Saturday
Congrats to Brent on winning last week at Richmond. We're off to Chicagoland this week, and Chase Elliot is slowly reeling in Chris Buescher in the points. If I can scrape together to gas for it, I'll be in Wakita, OK for the 20th anniversary celebration for the movie Twister, so it may be late before I can score it if I am able to go.
In the news, Jr Motorsports is trying to put together sponsorship for Josh Berry. The kid can drive, that much we all saw Friday night.
7 Regan Smith
9 Chase Elliot
54 Kyle Busch

Hmmm... John Wes Townley will be in this race. Somewhat of a wild card factor there!
We've got quite a few Cup regulars in the field... Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne, Paul Menard....
I'm going to take....
1) Ryan Blaney in the 22
2) Bubba Wallace in the 6
3) Chris BUESCHER!!!! in the 60.
I propose changing the John Wes Townley game.. predict his finishing position, with the closest person winning that, and the tie breaker being # of cautions.
JWT Finishing position: 29th
JWT Cautions: 2

Chase is back in top form! He really dominated last week. But he was slow in practice this week. I'll still pick him, but I'm not so confident.
I'll probably miss some of this race as I will be attempting to paint my truck, so I gotta make my picks now before qualifying
1. Chase Elliott
2. Kasey Kahne
3. Daniel Suarez

Good luck on the truck painting Brent. I'll probably be struggling to stay awake for the duration much like last week.
I'm going to go with a 36th place finish for JWT and 3 cautions induced by him, with the last one putting him out for good.

Dang I forgot my JWT picks. The race has started (it's still caution free), so I guess they aren't official, but I'll say....
JWT cautions: 3
Finishing position: 23
I pick this because 1 & 2 were taken and Chicagoland only has debris cautions

I'm ready for the races to be run during the day again...I've been able to follow these late races but by the time I wake up Sunday morning I have to go back and look everything over to make sure I processed everything right.
Anyway, pending any penalties handed out on the 54 team, Butch has won Chicagoland!

We're off to New Hampshire next week which (thank goodness) is a day race. I'll be playing in a work sponsored golf outing on Saturday but I figure we'll be off the course by the time the race starts.
