nice pics duane. I like how the Daytona 500 win car was never cleaned or anything. I see the first win car in the background too. I always thought it was cool that his first win came in his 3 race with Dale's crew. I think it meant a lot to all involved.

That must have been quite the day .It is amazingly clean and in order not a grease spot on the floor . I think the 24 car is the only car in the circuit that is actually painted . How odd that the rear window on Harvicks car is shaped the way it is just to improve the air flow you would it wouldn't

 

Lots of cars are painted. While I was there, they were painting the green on the gas tank on a few cars. That are is mandated by NASCAR to be painted because the the ethanol eats the decals off. Harvick's car is painted. I believe Logano is painted as well. I've seen Martin Truex' car in plain blue a few times, so I believe his is paint.


Seems like a lot of them are going to the wrap design though. I wonder if since it is cheaper and all, if cars will start coming from the factory with wraps instead of paint.
