Hi `Tyler, I care if it was InSane 4-Sure..., but your man Jeff Gordon did get a 2nd place finish
He must have went to church b-4 the race, or if he didn't ?, he should have Who do you think caused the wreck ?
ps. Great 2 see you online...Post a update on College Life ? Your Monte ? etc....
Peace/Happiness 2 `all from `Space
Excerpt from the following article:
Take the 1973 Talladega 500. That’s the race where Larry Smith hit the wall in Turn One, contact that appeared minor from my seat on the backstretch that day. But later word came that Smith had been killed.
Then Bobby Isaac suddenly retired from the race, parking Harry Hyde’s fast car, saying he heard voices telling him to quit.

Thanks `Duane for your post & history lesson...It's very interesting, but who do you think caused the big wreck yesterday ? Tony ? Mike Waltrip ? Mear's ? (?) ?Would like to know what our MCF Historian thinks ?
I didn't watch the race, but just seen the vid's & updates...
* To me it looked like Michael hit Tony & knocked him `out ?
I know Tony was blocking & it looked like Michael was charging ?
I don't think Tony should have to take all the blame, but I did respect his comments & he was not a cry baby `bout it...
Well, like I told you, the ghost who told Isaac to get out of the car and that caused the crash.
Seriuosly... rewind back to when Kenseth bumped Bowyer coming off 4 coming to the white flag. That checked up the whole field and made a big block of cars that didn't go anywhere. Then Kenseth had to figure out a way to save his race, and ended up getting passed by just Stewart and trying to slingshot back by off turn 4 on the last lap.
That log jam of cars trying to break free of that 4 wide race for 3rd or whatever it was, combined with the pressure of the last lap and the opportunty to win made guys drive more aggressively than they should have. No one really did anything wrong.... it just happened.
A chain of unfortunate events.
