Had Stewart driven, I think he woudl have been booed out of the track, honestly. This guy he hit was apparently a big deal to teh locals. He had been racing since he was 4 years old, and in teh past 5 had been racing in the Empire State Sprint Car series and had been a "winning driver" weather that means he won one race or 20 or 50.

Upstate New York really supports its locals though. Anyone recall how the fans went wild that time Steve Park won here in 2000?

According ot the daily schedule on the NASCAR site, the command to fire engines was at 1:08.

I've told her the rule is an hour before so lets stick her! I can honestly say that she did have her picks in before they fired the engines tho
