Just fixed that for you Mike. I had forgotten to give you the lap led bonus point that Jeff Gordon had earned, gave it to everyone else though. Had you taken Jimmie Johnson, you would have won. Jeff Gordon finished 1 spot behind Jimmie, but Jimmie had not led a lap, so you have the same point set as Carl. Had you taken Jimmie, you would have made your picks before Carl did, and you would have won. But the rules is the rules, Jimmie got the finishing position that Jeff didn't (which happens more times than not) so he gets the W.

 

Hey aslong as i got the same points im good lol, we should have 5 extra points for the winner of each race

 

Hey Mike, I've thought about doing systems like what you speak of, but it complicates things. This is simple, everyone understands it, and I think we're having fun. I messed wtih it at the begining of this year, and it didn't go well.


I've thought about giving like the race winner 50 points, 2nd place 49, etc., etc. and that way, we wouldn't have ties and you'd always be making or losing ground. But I think the current system rewards thinks like picking 1-2-3 in order and such things as that much better.



I might give you 5 bonus points if you set me up with the brunette on the right in that signature picture though.
