Default Picks for the Shootout!!

It's time for 2011!!! Remember guys, no points for this week, so lets have a good dry run and make some picks.

No practice yet, so I may edit my picks before the race... the chase guys from last year are in, the top guy from each manufacturer who didn't win or make the chase, and I think all past Daytona winners. So off the top of my head, and no practice sessions done yet, lets go with....

1)Kevin Harvick
2)Jeff Gordon
3)Carl Edwards

Just for fun picks:

Last place: Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Number of Cautions: 6
Manufacturers Breakdown: 4 Chevrolet's, 2 Toyota's, 1 Dodge, 3 Ford's.

The fantasy has been a long time coming... and I'm really looking forward to getting this thing into motion!!! Hard to believe, but this is going to be a blast. I know Brent is excited!!

`Duane, ~>Thanks again also for creating the MCF Fantasy Leauge for our member's. I hope I can keep `up & be able to participate.. I hope our member's join in on the fun....

Wow! First I gotta say its awesome to see so many players and so much interest in only a few hours and well before the first race! I think this year Duane is going to have a harder time keeping score then he was expecting! And I'm going to have a harder time winning!

Are you kidding Duane? Junior last at Daytona? Not going to happen. He wins these things for breakfast. Plus there are a lot more "plugs" in this race then traditionally. Derrick Cope - Kevin Conway - there is your struggle for last.

But it is an all new track, so everything everyone ever thought they knew about Daytona is out the window. Junior, Harvick and McMurray all have great record at the old track...

1. Dale Jr.
2. Mark Martin
3. Jamie McMurray

last: Peblo
cautions: 8
first to cause a caution in 2011: Peblo

5 Chevs, 3 Fords and 2 Dodges in the Top 10
