It's pretty common to rebody a car after most any race anymore. It's honestly better to build a new body than to start messing with glazing puddy or bondo to fix one with even minor dings/dents.
Lets talk Ford! Ryan Blaney will drive the 21 next year, and its expected now that the Wood Bros will shift their technical alliance from Roush to Penske. Edwards is leaving Roush, expected to go to Gibbs. That leaves Stenhouse and Bayne along with veteran Biffle to drive at Roush.... they're banking on the future with that line up. Biffle probably won't be running in 3-5 years or so.
Kenseth left Roush 2 years ago... Edwards leaving now... is this the end of Roush? It seems like after Roush had that last plane crash, his team has been on the down hill. He is one of the oldest owners out there.... and one of the older teams really. I really wonder... Penske has already emerged as the top Ford team.... I think Roush is on his way out and is going to end up in a technical alliance with Penske in a few years.

I think Roush might be an unlikeable guy. He just doesn't seem to have any fun. I don't know if this factors into an desire to join another team. The drivers are certainly lackluster now. Bifle is hardly a "flagship pilot". Still they hire Mark Martin back into their fold over there, so maybe he can work with the new kids. Mark should bring some good and needed experience to the team. Not from his many years of driving at Roush, but from his last few years spent driving for other organizations and seeing what they got. Since he left Roush, he spent seat and garage time with Ginn, DEI, EGR, Hendrick, MWR, JGR and Stewart-Haas - some teams longer than others. Who in the garage has worked with more teams than that? He did wonders for MWR in particular...
