Picks/Michigan/Sunday afternoon
Here it is! This is hte last of the summer snoozing races! Bristol and Darlington are next!
Yours truly finally got my first win on a road course after being so close in the last couple of years! That was abig deal to me! I also took the segment lead in the process.
We do have a new points leader, although one still in St. Louis, zJerry is the new overall points lead by a slim margin over another St. Louis kid!
Also, to pay homage, here is a photo of Buddy Baker after winning the Gabriel 400 at Michigan in 1979. He was the greatest yarn-spinner left from the old days, and we will certainly miss the Gentle Giant.
Anywho, that brings me to my own picks for this Michigan race... going back to all Ford for the time being...
1) Ryan Blaney, I had to make an edit after I realized he was in this race
2) Brad Keselowski
3) Joey Logano

#18 Kyle Busch
# 48 Jimmie Johnson
#88 Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Yes Sir: Buddy Baker was a cool guy, he sure loved watching Dale Jr. tackle his Talladega record and then pass it.
