Those are some classic shots Duane. Love the old cars. The Dodge is ugly as crap.

Classic NASCAR Photos of the Day

Look out! Big crash avoidance maneuvers going on in 1965.

In 1968, Buddy Baker in car #3 had a first lap tangle with pole sitter Cale Yarborough and messed up his car. He got it back right, then had an incident on pit road, rallied back, and then his car caught on fire.

HEre he is overtaking a GTO.

Unfortunately Duane:
Since having my surgery yesterday,
I doubt I will even watch the race...
The discomfort level only allows me to be minorly functional....
Sorry..

It's race day, gentlemen!! Time for my old roommate and I to load up and head to Martinsville!

So please remember, points and all will be pretty late, probably 8 o'clock tonight at the earliest. Unless someone else figures them out.

Here are some videos of what we were up to yesterday...

Friend of mine gets a real good shot off with my dad's .38 revolver.

Wait til you see the bottle almost go in a tree...

And finally...

Just a shot from a race in 1970....
