Points and Congratulatory Remarks
I got my first win of the year last week in Charlotte and took the Segment 2 points lead by a mere 6 points! Right now, it's looking like a 3 man race for the segment win, but we are just 3 races in.
Here is my victory lane celebration!
Second, congrats to Leprechaun93 (Keane) for continuing to hold the points lead by a 25 points.
The points are all looking like this as we go to Dover.

This Week at Dover
Dover is a track that has grown on me over the years. My roommate and I used to go up every year while we were in college but now my school schedule as the teacehr gets in my way of making an annual pilgrimage to Maryland and Delaware.
It is also a track that doesn't change much as the course of a race goes on. Concrete is not as affected by atmospheric conditions and temperature as an asphault track would be. The main difference will be if it rains the night before and the track has to "rubber in" during the race. This allows teams to get that one solid set up and run it forever and be able to "fine tune" during the race.
Also, some people do well here while others struggle. The dominate cars here are dominate for reason.
CHEVROLET TEAMS
Hendrick
The clear dominate driver at Dover in the past several years has been Jimmie Johnson. Since the first time he unloaded here, he just figured the place out and runs so well here it's ridiculous. He'll be going for a record number of wins at this track. If one does not have Jimmie on their team this week, they're taking a long shot bet against that 48.
The rest of the drivers are just "so so" here. Jeff Gordon was good last year but got of sequence with a tire going down and never recovered.
Junior and Kahne are good top 10 drivers here.
Stewart Haas
When NASCAR went to the new chassis in 2007, Stewart just lost any feel he may have ever had for Dover. With the Stewart-Haas team running as badly as it is this year, I think one is taking a long shot bet to take any of their cars at Dover
Childress
Burton has a really good average here, Menard seems to be falling off just ever so slightly, and Harvick and be a threat anywhere you go. The only Childress car worth betting on though is Kevin Harvick right now.
Furnitrue Row
With a track that doesn't change much, I think Kurt Busch could be a good car to bet on this weekend if one wants a sneaky pick.
TOYOTA TEAMS
Joe Gibbs
Kyle Busch has always been really good at Dover. However, his luck is getting bad. Last year, he was running well and lost an engine, one of like 4 in a row. This year, Kyle Busch ahs only finished 6th at Darlington but is having another 4 races in the same time span with crashes or blown engines. With a streaky driver like Busch, one has to be taking a gamble to bet on Kyle Busch
Matt Kenseht was always really good at Dover with Jack Roush, and I believe that dominance will carry over providing his luck stay with him.
Denny Hamlin wasn't that good here for several years but he has been coming along. I think Hamlin will log a solid top 10.
Michael Waltrip Racing
Clint Bowyer is pretty fair at this track and could be a threat for a top 5. i do'nt know if he'll have what it takes to contend with the Hendrick and Gibbs powerhouse.
Truex has his one and only Sprint Cup win here. He could contend again if the circumstances line up right.
FORD TEAMS
Roush
Before Johnson, Ford teams held a stranglehold on Dover. It's one of their best tracks. But the Ford's are off a little bit this year. Carl Edwards is pretty good and they don't call him "Concrete Carl" for nothing! He did have a blown tire here last year in teh cursed Subway paint job, a curse I hope was broken in Phoenix when he won with that paint job. Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth were spectacular here, btu we'll have to see how Edwards, Biffle, and Stenhouse add up.
Penske
Keselowski won here last year, and I beleive that's his only top 10. With the way he is running lately, it's ahrd to put a good bet on Keselowski. He's had some hard luck this past month.
Joey Logano is okay at Dover. With the right setup and his real crew cheif back, he might run well or even win. However, I'm waiting for Michigan and Pocono to pull the Joey Logano card for a win.
Penske
When Allmendinger drove the 43, the 43 was really good here... andi t's alrigth with Almirola! There is something about the 43 that runs well at this track. But the 43's momentum is down after bad weeks at Darlington and Charlotte, so I'm going to hold my breath for a while on that one.
My Picks
With all of that being said, I will go down with...
1) Jimmie Johnson
2) Matt Kenseth
3) Carl Edwards

Evan, I need you to post the Busch brothers in order with their names separated. If there is a tie, I will have to automatically give the other person the position since Iwon't know which person you intended to put first. If they're in an order, your first pick might score more picks than the other persons first pick.
I'm going to write more rundown later. Just ran out of time this afternoon

The rundown is complete! Here are some classic Dover Photos for you...
In this photo of the track when itw as built around a horse track in 1969, the horse track in the center is clearly visible.
